Through our partnership with Dayton Public Schools, we provide resources to students at Roosevelt Elementary, where they participate in afterschool programming, with STEM activities, athletic training, and academic support. Want to get involved? Fill out a contact form below.
Jan's Closet
Jan’s Closet began in 2019 thanks to the ingenuity of Janice Williams, who pioneered a boutique that offers a wide selection of clothing for all persons at a low cost. Shop by making an appointment or coming on Thursdays from 3:30pm to 5:30pm!
Kupanda Project
The Equity Center is currently working with the leaders, churches, and organizations of the African Diaspora to embody the Swahili concept of “Kupanda”. The word, which means we are rising”, is our holistic approach to employ sustainable techniques that cultivate strength in the resettlement community.
The Gathering
Food justice is an important part of community justice. Join us on Wednesdays at 11 to 12:30 for food and community resource, live music and More! We have joined with key partner organizations to weekly provide food educational activities for over 50 families. With the help of Citiwide, West Dayton Strong, we provide coats, clothing, as well as interactive experiences for over 100 children throughout the year.
