What is a digital entrepreneurship?

Digital businesses include e-commerce, blogs, online courses, and other digital spaces for products and services. We can help answer questions – How do I start a digital business? How do I assess the viability of my business idea? How do I develop a business plan? How do I make my website work for me?

The Digital Entrepreneurs program training includes learning paths that Google developed in collaboration with nonprofit partners like The Equity Center. Lessons vary from fundamental digital skills, to more advanced topics to include entrepreneurship and business budgeting.

The program helps people develop skills that will assist them to obtain a meaningful living wage employment or to initiate a business venture. 

Equity Center also integrates Google’s digital skills curriculum into its existing programming, with the goal of helping people impacted by incarceration learn skills for today’s jobs. As economic constraints fluctuate, these tools enable the overlooked workforce in the justice-impacted community.  Learn more about how Google is expanding access to digital skills training to support individuals who were formerly incarcerated at grow.google/justice-impacted.
